What HouseBFF does

HouseBFF is run by the team behind this website. HouseBFF helps people who need work done at home find local, independent tradespeople. You tell us what you need, and we pass your request to up to three pros who work in your area so they can send you a quote.

Using HouseBFF

Use HouseBFF only to ask for work you genuinely want quotes for, and give us true and complete details. You must be 18 or over. Do not misuse the site, for example by sending false requests, sending many requests to disrupt the service, or trying to get around its security.

Quotes and prices

Prices on this website are typical ranges and a guide only. Each pro decides their own quote, and nothing on the site is an offer. You are under no obligation to accept a quote.

The pros are independent

The pros are independent businesses, not employees or agents of HouseBFF. Any agreement to do work is between you and the pro. HouseBFF is not a party to it and is not responsible for the work, its quality, its price or any dispute. Check a pro's qualifications, insurance and references yourself before you hire them. Gas work must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

Our responsibility

We aim to keep HouseBFF running and accurate, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise it will always be available or error free. We are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for loss caused by a pro. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes and law

We may change these terms, and the date below shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute. Last updated 6 November 2026.
